The acts of the sinful nature are obvious. They are all about self. Pleasure. Prosperity. Taking the "easy" way. Selfish ambition hits closest to home for me. Sitting in front of the computer instead of playing with my kids. Watching TV instead of spending time with my husband. Making sure I am taking care of instead of helping those around me. There is no room for selfish ambition in my life if I am living for God. I will want only to please Him. By pleasing Him, serving others will naturally happen. (Or supernaturally happen).
