Someone caught in sin should be restored gently. That person should not be cut off. He should be counseled and reasoned with. Carry each other's burdens. In a word: pray. Pray for those caught in sin. Pray for their restoration. Do not compare yourself to others. If we think we are better than others, then we are deceived. The only comparison should be with Christ, and compared to Him, we are NOTHING.

AMEN sister! I think we all get caught in that comparison trap--I know I do all.the.time. It's a false sense of worth (or non-worth, depending on the situation) because Christ is the only yardstick worth measuring up to. Getting better though. I guess awareness is the first step. :0)
